PowerColor and Arctic Cooling will launch in the first quarter of 2007 a solution for PowerColor's X1950 Pro and X1950 XT passive cards, which are claimed to be the fastest passive cards in the world, according to DigiTimes. Hard drive giant Seagate has taken the dramatic step of dropping eSys as a global distribution partner following its alleged refusal to co-operate with an audit of point of sale records. The US-based vendor has already ceased shipments of its products to eSys.
