Bang & Olufsen Introduces the Beosystem 3000c: A Fusion of Vintage Vinyl and Modern Audio

Bang & Olufsen Unveils Beosystem 3000c: Where Vintage Vinyl Meets Modern Sound

Bang & Olufsen has unveiled the Beosystem 3000c, a sophisticated music system that reimagines the iconic Beogram 3000 turntable from 1985. This classic turntable has been meticulously recreated and complemented with contemporary Beolab 8 stereo speakers, both featuring a coordinated Artisan Walnut finish. With only 100 individually numbered sets available, the Beosystem 3000c offers a seamless connection between the tactile experience of vinyl and the ease of modern streaming, blending analogue warmth with today’s digital convenience.

This marks the third entry in Bang & Olufsen's Recreated Classics series—an initiative devoted to breathing new life into iconic products through careful restoration, engineering updates, and aesthetic enhancements. The Beosystem 3000c exemplifies this philosophy, combining hand-crafted walnut and re-anodised aluminium to unite the past and present. The original components have been preserved, cleaned, upgraded, and future-proofed by Bang & Olufsen's team in Struer, Denmark.

"Our Recreated Classics series celebrates the cultural significance of vinyl and the enduring value of Bang & Olufsen products," says Mads Kogsgaard Hansen, Director of Product Circularity & Portfolio Planning. "The Beosystem 3000c invites music lovers to experience their vinyl collections in a way that blends authentic sound with modern listening habits."

The Beogram 3000, initially launched in 1985, introduced Bang & Olufsen's innovative tangential tracking technology in a more compact, electronically automated design. Its sleek floating aesthetic and intuitive control panel quickly made it a standout piece. In the Beosystem 3000c, this design vision is brought to life once more with modern craftsmanship—featuring a precision-machined solid walnut back cover, upgraded aluminium control panel, dust lid, high-quality fabric cables, and a future-ready pickup cartridge. Original aluminium parts have been meticulously remanufactured and given a refined pearl-blasted and brushed finish at Bang & Olufsen’s Factory 5.

Completing the system, the Beolab 8 stereo speakers echo the craftsmanship of the turntable with matching walnut lamellas and pearl-blasted aluminium shells. Together, they deliver a rich, dynamic sound experience—whether immersing listeners in the warmth of vinyl or streaming a favourite playlist.

The Beosystem 3000c represents Bang & Olufsen’s dedication to craftsmanship, exceptional sound, and the belief that great design should endure for generations.
